out Concealed Carry Sign

4" x 6" Depicts Handgun with

Red Circle/Slash

Illinois employers need to assure their policies and procedures are up to date with new State laws in place, here the Firearm Concealed Carry Act.

Although public sector facilities, hospitals, and other employers are free to ban handguns anywhere on their property, employers otherwise must conspicuously post a ban on firearms with the approved ISP signage. They also must take into account the parking lot exception, whether they own or lease their facilities, and other factors called to the fore by this statute.

An October 11, 2013 press release from the Illinois State Police Department provides the sign.
