    Anderson Law Offices has extensive experience in the representation of private and public sector employers in union organizing campaigns and elections, matters before the National Labor Relations Board and state labor boards, suits brought by unions in federal and state court, labor arbitration and mediation, and collective bargaining with unions.  This area of the firmís practice includes:


  • Preventative employee relations designed to keep the client union-free

  • Counseling clients in the strategy and procedural minefield of union elections and organizing campaigns, including unit hearings

  • Defending clients at the federal or state labor boards against unfair labor practice charges, and against complaints for unfair labor practices that are heard before administrative law judges

  • Representing clients during union elections and post-election procedures such as objections and hearings on objections and challenged voters

  • Defending clients against suits brought by unions in federal or state court for violations of labor agreements under ß301 of the Labor Management Relations Act, including the failure to pay contributions into union-sponsored benefit funds

  • Defending clients before arbitrators in grievances over the application of the collective bargaining agreement between a union and the client

  • Representing clients in mediation of disputes, including impasse and strike situations during contract negotiations

  • Representing clients at the table during collective bargaining over a labor agreement
